Nissan Teana Generations

Nissan Teana 2009 (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), 2st generation

Nissan introduced the big sedan in 2008 in certain markets around the world. As an executive sedan, it was without a single flat body surface. Its wide grille with horizontal slats and bent-back vertical headlights were unusual for its time. The angled windshield and curved roof made the car more aerodynamic. Beneath its sloping D-pillars, the automaker installed a third row of windows behind the rear doors. Inside the Teana, the same infotainment system was installed as in Infiniti models, with a controller on the top of the center console. For base models, Nissan offered the car with a velour interior. The upper trim levels of the interior had leather upholstery and wood trim on the instrument panel, center console, and door panels. Thanks to the long wheelbase, rear seat passengers had plenty of legroom and headroom. Under the hood, Nissan installed three engine options. All of them were coupled to the X-Tronic transmission (CVT), which transmitted power to the front wheels.

Nissan Teana 2003 (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009), 1st generation

The Nissan Teana was introduced in 2003 as a replacement for the Nissan Cefiro, Bluebird and Laurel. On the outside, the midsize sedan had a bold appearance with Nissan Murano-style headlights and a greenhouse that resembled a rear-wheel drive car. But it was front-wheel-drive, and in some markets it was offered with an all-wheel-drive system. 16-inch alloy wheels were fitted as standard. In December 2005, the Teana received new headlights and taillights, chrome trim on the bumpers, enlarged fog lights and new gauges. Inside, there was an elegant interior with leather and wood trim on the center console and door panels. It had an infotainment system borrowed from the Nissan Primera. As for the engine bay, the Teana was offered with three engine options and only an automatic transmission. Either it was a 4-speed or a variator with 6 preset gears, it was a car built for comfort, with enough space for the rear passengers.
