Kia Quoris Generations
Kia Quoris 2018 (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), 2 generation
The Quoris (K9) has been completely redesigned for 2019, and you could say it’s the Stinger’s bigger brother. The Quoris (K9) exterior was more friendly than aggressive, with standard all-LED headlights and the already standard Kia grille – the manufacturer said the grille was designed to look like it was made of diamonds. The rear end also had dual exhausts and a single LED tail light. If the exterior wasn’t all that unusual, things changed with the interior. The interior of the Quoris (K9) was the true epitome of luxury, with soft touch materials, leather, black royal lacquer and wood inlays. The power seats had 12-way or 14-way adjustment, and both were heated and cooled. An audio system with 17 languages and crystal-clear sound was added to the luxury sedan. The 12-inch touchscreen display worked very smoothly, and it could also be controlled with the control knob.
Kia Quoris 2012 (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), 1 generation
Kia introduced the Quoris (K9) as its flagship model in 2012 in the Korean market, and it later entered other markets. The rear-wheel-drive Kia was unusual, but it was what the Quoris (K9) was all about. Its LED headlights with an aggressive design and signature “tiger nose” grille made it important, although it didn’t have the same look as a premium German car. The car had two deflectors on the sides of the front fenders. The overall rear-cabin design emphasized the rear-wheel-drive architecture with the rear pillar pushed back and the short trunk lid. In addition to the luxurious leather-wrapped interior, it provided the car with a host of technologies, including soft-close doors, a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle, a projection display and an infotainment system that could be operated from behind. On the dashboard, Kia did away with analog dials and installed a large TFT display. As for the U.S. K900, the Korean luxury sedan was equipped with analog dials. Under the hood of the Quoris (K9) was a 3.8-liter direct-injection gasoline engine. It sent power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
