The 2016 Honda CR-Z gets revised exterior and interior styling and a new top-line EX-L trim level that includes a navigation system. The 2013 CR-Z features new styling, including a new front end as well as a rear diffuser. CR-Zs with the manual transmission get a larger clutch and lower final-drive ratio. There’s also a new Plus Sport system, which is activated by a S+ button on the steering wheel. The system provides electric assist for up to five seconds when the battery’s charge state is above 50 percent. New standard features include Bluetooth phone connectivity and streaming audio and a backup camera. New optional features include Pandora and text messaging integration, two-tone seats and LED daytime running lights.

CR-Zs painted Crystal Black Pearl can have optional black fabric seats. There are no other changes for 2012.
Honda CR-Z 2011 (2011), 1rd generation
Honda’s latest hybrid, the 2011 CR-Z, attempts to be both sporty and hybrid, and each has had average success. The higher trim level of the CR-Z, EX, adds features such as Bluetooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum shift knob (manual), aluminum pedals, additional interior accents, and a more powerful stereo with subwoofer. Essential analog inputs and USB inputs for the MP3 player are standard in all trim levels of the interior. The navigation system effectively creates another interior trim level, called EX Navi, which will cost less than $24,000, including the optional variator, but without the additional options. Options will include mostly exterior and interior cosmetic “accessories,” but you can also get 17-inch summer tires instead of the standard 16-inch all-season tires.
